The roots of this winery date back to 1199, with the family now owning vines across Catalonia mostly in the Penedes and Pla de Bages appellations. Vines have an average age of around 25 years and produce low yields for the standards of the region. The climate has cooling influences from the mountains and the sea, which preserves freshness in the grapes. The Garnatxa is rich, full-bodied and smokey; Garnatxa Blanca is aromatic with great citrussy freshness; and the Cava is a classic dry style with mostly fresh orchard fruit flavours.
