Jean-Frederic and Jean-Noel Sambardier are fifth-generation winemakers at this excellent estate. The "Non-Filtré" is produced from 70-100 year old vines grown on extremely poor granite soils, incredible value for money. "Vers Le Mont" is from a lieu-dit plot of 50+ years old vines right on the crest of the hill, producing a rich and concentrated style. "Le Soly" Bourgogne Blanc is a tiny lieu-dit of 1ha on a steep slope with southern exposure, right next to the family’s Viognier vines which are not for sale (we tried). The Cremant de Bourgogne is a blend of Macon and Beaujolais Chardonnay - dry, elegant, light - while the Blanc des Noirs is an interesting and unique addition - 100% old vine Gamay. Special extra old vine releases are available in tiny quantities. No chemical fertilisers or insecticides are used.
